The Joy of SUP - The Paddleboarding Sunshine Podcast

Cath Knight - SUP The River Wye, Live Loudly Live Kindly, Friends on Adventures + Bliss Balls

Season 2 Episode 10

I'm thrilled to welcome Cath Knight to The Joy of SUP Podcast today!

Cath is a very inspiring woman whose recent river paddleboarding and fundraising adventure on the River Wye  with her friend Ginny Cooper really moved me.

Cath lives in a village called Taplow close to the River Thames and Maidenhead. She has a busy life with two sons Jack 15 and is a Forest School Leader as well as being part of and volunteering at a plastic free Refill Shop.

In May 2021 Cath and a childhood friend, Ginny embarked upon a 100 miles, 5 day adventure on the River Wye to raise money for a charity - The Children's Cancer and Leukaemia Group in memory of Ruby Fuller and her fund. They were supported by Ginny's partner Fillip.

If you wish to make a donation to help them reach their £10,000.00 goal you can find their fundraising page here. How wonderful it would be if we could help them as a community!

Here are some links to places and people we talk about in the podcast:

Ruby's message to the world that Cath talks about is Live Kindly, Live Loudly.
